Director of Finance
Kamada Ltd. (NASDAQ: KMDA; TASE: KMDA.TA), a commercial stage global biopharmaceutical company with a portfolio of marketed products indicated for rare and serious conditions and a leader in the specialty plasma-derived field is seeking a Director of Finance, reporting to the Company's CFO.
Key responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Strategy: Direct all aspects of accounting operations of the group (comprised of an Israeli Parent company with operations in multiple global markets and multiple operating subsidiaries in the US, Israel and the UAE) aligned with the company's objectives while ensuring compliance with IFRS and SOX
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting and finance personnel (Comprised of the accounting and bookkeeping departments, including two team leaders and 6 employees) to enhance performance, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain efficient accounting processes, ensure compliance with financial policies and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Also responsible for recruitment, mentoring, personal and professional development of the team
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee timely preparation and summation of quarterly and annual audited financial statements
- Cash flow management: Manage the corporate global cash-flow as well as relationship with banking institutions
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks through internal controls and audits, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements
- Accounting and Financial Systems: Advance and upgrade corporate accounting infrastructure to support the company's rapid growth
- Business Development: Support all finance and accounting aspects associated with the corporate business development and expansion
- Other finance and administrative duties as required
Minimum qualification and requirements
- Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable
- Experience: Proven experience as a Director of Finance or similar role, in NASDAQ traded public commercial entities, preferably in the biotech and/pr pharmaceutical industry
- IFRS and SOX Compliance: Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards and SOX regulations
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in financial management software and MS Office, with proven track record of systems upgrades implementations
- Inventory Costing: Experience with inventory costing methods and systems
- Language: Bilingual proficiency in English
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and efficiently manage tasks and time
